World Brain Tumor Day is observed on 8th June every year since 2000. The incidence of Brain tumor has been growing steadily in India.World Homeopathy Day is celebrated on April 10th every year on the birthday of Dr.Hahnemann. Today, i.e. April 10th will be the 264th birth anniversary of Dr.Samuel Hahnemann. The week following the birth anniversary of Dr.Hahnemann (April 10th-16th) is celebrated a World Homeopathic Awareness Week.
On this occasion, CCRH – Central Council for Research in Homeopathy – the nodal agency for Homeopathy in India is organizing a two day convention in New Delhi. The convention will focus on the future strategies for the development of Homeopathy in the country. The theme of this convention is on linking research with education and clinical practice. The convention will be headed by Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, AYUSH Department, Government of India, Roshan Jaggi, Joint Secretary, Ministry of AYUSH, Sh.Nilanjal Sanyal, Chairman, Board of Governors, Central Council of Homeopathy and other dignitaries.
In order to encourage homeopathy and award achievers in research and clinical practice of homeopathy, AYUSH awards relating to Life Time Achievement, Best Teacher, Scientist and Best Research Paper will be conferred on this occasion.
Speaking exclusively to AYUSH TV. – Dr.C.B.Nanjaraju, Joint Director, Homeopathy, Ayush Department, Bangalore said “Homeopathy provides long lasting relief to chronic ailments, people should take homeopathic treatment which is now available at district and village levels across Karnataka.
Speaking on the occasion of World Homeopathy Day, Meenakshi Negi, Commissioner, Ayush Department, Bangalore, said “Homeopathy is based on the principle of ‘Likes cure Likes’, Homeopathy was started by Dr.Samuel Hahnemann, a German Doctor, Linguist who had an aptitude towards developing alternate healing mechanisms. Today it has gained immense popularity and India has been in the forefront in developing Homeopathy. India can be considered as the Modern Home of Homeopathy. In Karnataka alone there are more than 12000 practitioners of Homeopathy, 13 colleges, 63 dispensaries and 16 hospitals catering to the demand of the patients.”
“Homeopathy is becoming more and more popular every day. It is a very ideal method of treatment for lifestyle related disorders and also for new born babies and other ailments. I request everyone to take homeopathy form of treatment to get treated through homeopathy hospitals which is available at every district center.
